Founded in 1953, Kong Jiang High School
was among the first approved key schools in Shanghai.
In the 1960s, it was one of the authorized school to take
for students whose parents were overseas Chinese. Nowadays,
the alumni can be found both home and abroad. Located
in the east of Shanghai (close to famous universities
such as Fu Dan University and Tong Ji University), Kong
Jiang High School has around 2,000 students with a beautiful
campus, up-to-date school facilities and a convenient
location. In the past 50 years, the conception of “independent
learning” has distinguished us as one of the most prestigious
schools in Shanghai.
Kong Jiang High School has a dedicated, creative and experienced
teaching staff. Based on the school syllabus stipulated
by the State Education Commission, we have been working
at exploring school based courses catered to the demand
of the students. Up to now, we have had more than eighty
elective courses to cater to different students’ needs
and provide students with room for self-development. In
the past few years, we have achieved excellent results
in the college entrance exams, and each year, a 90% students
was admitted to famous universities such as Beijing University,
Fudan University and Tongji Universty and several hundred
people have won prizes in the international, state and
municipal contests.
Kong Jiang High School is one of the leading schools that
have strong tradition of sports, science and technology,
